What Can I Play With LEGO?

Tallest Tower
This fun game is perfect for kids of any age, but it’s aimed at preschoolers who are learning to count.
To play Tallest Tower, you’ll need:
- A small box filled with LEGOs
- Dice
To play, each player starts with one LEGO brick as the base of their tower.
After that, each player rolls one or two dice (your choice) and adds the number of bricks on the dice to their tower.
The game continues until all the bricks in the box have been used.
The winner is the player with – you guessed it – the tallest tower.
LEGO Spoon Race
Use LEGOs to have a fun race inside or outside. To play, you’ll need:
- LEGOs
- A spoon for each player
- A box for each player
Place a box filled with LEGOs at one end of the race and an empty box for each player at the end of the race. Give each player one spoon.
Set a timer for two minutes and tell the players to transport as many LEGOs as they can from one end of the race track to the other using only the spoon.
If a player drops their brick, they must return to the start and get a new one.
The player with the most bricks in their box when the timer goes off wins.
Cover the Baseplate
Challenge your kids to a LEGO race with this fun game. To play, you’ll need:
- One baseplate for each player
- Several LEGOs
When you say go, each player must race to cover their entire baseplate with Legos.
The first to completely cover the baseplate wins.

LEGO Ping Pong
Get your kids up and moving with this fun game for two players.
To play, you’ll need:
- LEGOs
- Ping pong ball or inflated balloon
Give your kids a box of LEGOs and challenge them to build a bat that’s strong enough to hit the ping pong ball or balloon without breaking.
They player who hits the ball or balloon the most times without breaking their bat wins.
LEGO Memory
Help your kids hone their memory skills with this easy LEGO game.
To play, you’ll need:
- Legos in different sizes and colors
- A kitchen towel
Lay out several LEGOs in different sizes and colors in a pattern on the table.
Give your kids 30 seconds to look at the pattern, then cover the bricks with the towel.
Then, challenge your kids to recreate the pattern with their own LEGOs.
The first to successfully copy the pattern wins that round.
